If you have purchased the instructions for an HHO gas conversion kit then you may feel a little daunted by the details contained within. While the assembly of oxyhydrogen engine isn`t too difficult, it`s the instructions that can sometimes confuse folks.
Kit complexity varies, depending on which company you purchased your HHO gas conversion e-book from. We will go through a medium range instruction guide and see the common pitfalls. Now, firstly, the oxyhydrogen engine runs primarily off an electrolysis unit. You would have bought a jar for this along with tubing and wiring. We cannot mention the metals used in the electrolysis unit, due to copyright, but buy extra in case you crack or cut the metal incorrectly.
Iron Solder
Make sure you don`t use any glues inside the electrolysis unit of the HHO gas conversion catalyst, if you do then it will ruin the chemical reaction. Attach the metal to the wires the long way, either by soldering or fastening. The oxyhydrogen engine electrolysis is powered by a pulsed electric current, you would have bought a few resistors, capacitors, transistors and a generic microchip. At this critical junction you must get every connection soldered precisely and use the softest solder possible with the smallest soldering iron.
Make sure to cable tie all the tubing connections as an extra precaution. The last thing you want is liquid spilling about inside your oxyhydrogen engine as you won`t be able to hear it. HHO gas conversion will produce noticeable results with increased gas mileage as long as you assemble your unit properly and take your time doing so.
